EXP2- Developed Model and Comments on Pictures

recapping my Electroliquid Aggregation:
Natural organic life is what people want to enjoy in architecture, and we need to reassemble it by collecting fragmentation. It can't be seen as a whole, but they have meaningful relationship.

In this whole picture of the light rail stop, the curve block as a light rail stop extend along the side of pedestrian walkway. The rectangular block act as a bridge, as well as an open pubic space for human activities. The point for "Sustainability" is its multi function as mentioned above. The space has a sense of community rather just a path of a bridge. Also, Some plants grow along the detail element(parabola) that make the block more organic and natural. The curve block is designed to be two ends with the middle part like separating as we can see there is no cover on top of the middle section of the station. The function of the two ends are different, one for the on off platform, and the other for resting and waiting area. I think the way I link the two blocks is designing one on top of the other. The rectangular block seems to be the second floor of the light rail stop. When two type of building are able to link together with a spacial relationship, It create good spacial impact. They can link together but hardly seem as a whole. Actually their quality affect each other so as the surrounding. When a building can naturally sit on a site and fit to other buildings, this is what natural and organic thing happen.

The space underneath the bridge is potential for human activities, for example, gathering. It also becomes a good shading, interacting with the original grassland. I think people will be attracted by this space instead of a totally exposed grassland.

Although the rectangular block is quite big in scale, I tried to design more gap and empty space on it, so more natutal light can go through the whole space. The use of glass stair riser is another appoach for getting the space lighter.
