This is a comprehensive course featuring three parts- Thermal Comfort, Acoustic, Lighting. In the lecture time, the lecturers delivered us the core concepts of those disciplines. Also, the assignments consolidated our learnings through the design and application. For the acoustic, we are allowed to correspond to our Studio 3 design, identifying the noise sources and proposing solutions with the estimated performance value backup. On the other hand, lighting assignment required us to design a small office layout, modelling using the software Relux. The software has a large database of lighting luminaires for us to choose from. Also, we can choose appropriate materials and surface reflectances for adjusting the light reflection in order to achieve indirect light. Afterwards, the software can help us generate calculation and related graphs to present our result.
